Rustic vs Modern Brick: Which One Do I Go With?

Derek Saracini

StoneRox offers two distinct styles of brick for you to fall in love with

Rustic Brick: Greenwich
Rustic Brick: Greenwich

Whoa, whats that?! A completely new brick collection from StoneRox? It’s a great day if you're looking for a new sleek modern brick for any exterior or interior project.

StoneRox has added three new modern bricks to their thin clay brick lineup. These bricks are different than our traditional bricks as the sizing is quite a bit longer and thinner to give that linear running straight look. The faces of the brick are also completely flat with squared edges to provide that sharp, contemporary feel. The bricks are very sleek and will provide any project a true touch of class.

We are offering these bricks in three colours and all neutral tones to go with the vibe of the brick. They are offered in Snowfall, which is a stunning white brick; Shadow, which is a beaufitul, light grey brick; and our Eclipse, which provides a dark grey/off black tone. These three bricks work perfectly on really any project, but they truly fit seamlessly into modern home projects with flat roofs, sharp architectural lines, and a squared-off look.

All that being said, we also brought on a new gorgeous brick to our rustic collection. It really closes a hole on a look that we were not offering. This new brick, Greenwich, is a modular size and has a beautiful limewash look. It has a reclaimed brick look with a beautiful limewash finish. The versatility of this brick is unmatched because it can be used on any traditional build project due to the reclaimed look but also fits well into a modern home due to the limewash look. It looks excellent with both a flush mortar joint (a joint to give more of a vintage feel) or a raked joint, which helps to give it a more modern look. Either way, its impossible to go wrong with choosing Greenwich.

All four of these new bricks are available to check out on the website so please take a look and let us know your thoughts. As always, StoneRox is here to answer any questions regarding any masonry project.
